The story of the elephant
The rabbit and the elephant met at the water hole in the morning. The rabbit said to the elephant,"why hello elephant,how are you today? How is your family?" the elephant looked glum as he drank from the waterhole. Hardly anyone else was at the waterhole drinking. The rabbit grew concerned and asked,"why are you so glum my friend cheer up? " But it didn't work, and the elephant carried on drinking,
not making a sound. not even a slurping as he drank.
Finally after a few minutes the elephant replied in his
deep voice." I am far away from home, and i don't like being teased which i am by the monkeys, and now i am afraid to go into the jungle" said the elephant. He let out a big sigh.
Nimi is a beautiful eagle. he is great friends of the rabbit. He swooped down as soon as he saw his friend and the elephant talking and thought this would be a good time for a drink. " hello rabbit" he said cheerfully."whats going on here?" The rabbit explained the problem to the eagle, and he thought long and hard. What yoou should do is visit an old friend of mine, come with me!
They walked for about half an hour until they reached a cave. It was dark and smelly, The eagle called out,"Jeremy, are you there?Jeremy?"
Slowly a large cheetah came out. He had a beautiful coat of fur. " how may i assist you?" he asked poliltly, and all was explained
once more. The cheetach decided to take them to the wise whale of the west.
The elephant was afraid now because it was getting dark, and colder, but still they walked on. When they finally got there the
whale was swimming peacefully on the surface. They went out on a boat, and a very strong boat i must add, to tallk to the whale.
The whale once hearing the news came up with the first real advice all week since this started. He gave simple advice. give a message to a bird of prey, one i know for instance and he will carry the
message. he lives in the moody mountain.
The moody mountain is a big mysterious mountain, which up rto know many have not dared to climb. The elephant was jpined by the
rabbit, the eagle, cheetah, and a ffew gazzels whos wanted to help as well.
The elephant was satisfied because his problem was solved,because the bird carried the story for him.
the elephant was thrilled with all the help he was given, and that he made new friends.
